This coffee is grown in the states within the Cerrado region, also known as the central plateau. It is processed naturally meaning the coffee is patio-dried while still in the cherries. This brings intense sweetness and fruity flavours resembling green apples. This coffee is also graded as a Strictly Soft Bean, which means they are grown at relatively low altitudes. The warmer temperature makes the beans mature quickly and produce lighter, less dense beans. Hard and dense beans are usually poorly balanced due to insufficient sugars and salts in the composition. Grown at an altitude of 900 - 1250 m.a.s.l.
