This coffee is grown and carefully harvested by hill tribe farmers in Mae Hong Son where coffee planting is a significant income source for local residents. Much of the rain forest in the region remains untouched and the high mountains in MHS provide abundant rainfall contributing to the coffee growing terroir. Grown at an altitude of 1550 m.a.s.l.
