Produced by our sister brand, Pimp My Salad, this is a classic walnut banana bread without the guilt - vegan, gluten-free, moist and delicious. Made with fresh local bananas, chopped walnuts, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Best enjoyed warm with fresh bananas topped with a little maple syrup or honey for our sweet tooths out there! If you have whipped cream on hand - lather it on.
For longer storage, slice and freeze for up to 2 weeks. To reheat, bake for 10 minutes in a 180C oven. If freezing as a whole loaf, defrost it the day before in the fridge and place in an oven to warm up.
Enjoy warm by reheating in a 180C oven for 3 minutes or in a microwave with some water till the centre of the cake is slightly soft & warm (about 3 minutes). A fresh loaf should be consumed within 3 days of purchase. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
