Not at all! While we roast our coffee with a specific brewing method in mind, we also encourage experimentation. Home brewing is a personal journey, and high-quality coffee beans allow one to enjoy a delicious beverage without needing to over-optimise the brewing process.

We recommend keeping your coffee beans in the bag they're delivered in. The one-way valves expel CO2 while preventing oxygen from entering the bags. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

For optimal flavour we recommend consuming the beans 10 days after the roast date and within 4 weeks from the roast date.

We label each bag of coffee with its corresponding roast date.

Great bean blend which provides an ideal complement to a favourite after-dinner beverage....rum in in my case.

Really good for all day drinking

This is one of the lighter blends I order regularly. I like a dark roast in the morning but for later in the day, the higher acidity combined with the sweetness of milk chocolate make this ideal for a lunch time or afternoon coffee. I use an espresso grind and drink as an americano, sometimes with a little milk to bring out the chocolate notes. Highly recommend this for an great all day coffee.

When craving for chocolate

The beans have a well-balanced acidity and bitterness, which is great for a pleasant cup of espresso. I also enjoyed as espresso based drinks such as latte.

My Days Start with Chocolate for Days

Each day my first coffee is a soy latte, usually made with the Chocolate for Days roast. Its smooth, chocolate and nutty notes go perfectly with a smooth nutty soy froth. If you enjoy a soy latte, or any latte, I highly recommend that you try this lovely combo.
