Not at all! While we roast our coffee with a specific brewing method in mind, we also encourage experimentation. Home brewing is a personal journey, and high-quality coffee beans allow one to enjoy a delicious beverage without needing to over-optimise the brewing process.

We recommend keeping your coffee beans in the bag they're delivered in. The one-way valves expel CO2 while preventing oxygen from entering the bags. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

For optimal flavour we recommend consuming the beans 10 days after the roast date and within 4 weeks from the roast date.

We label each bag of coffee with its corresponding roast date.

Smooth criminal is a very balanced blend, smooth as it implies in the name, not acidic and forgiving to less experienced baristas and cappuccino makers.

I have been going to Sarnies for sometime now, love the coffee and the coffee and always great service.

Perfect for a milky coffee or latte

Tasting notes mention brown sugar and that's a great description. This blend has a smooth sweetness with just the right amount of acidity. I grind this one coarser and brew a long coffee in my aeropress. Then add enough water after brewing to give around 15:1 water to coffee ratio then add milk. Great for an afternoon coffee or after a meal.

Balanced Blend

This blend of Thai, Lao, and Brazilian beans brews to a smooth and low-acidity cup of coffee. Not too rich in flavor, and an overall well-balanced coffee.
