Sarnies' first Fine Robusta release.

Phakphum Udthern never planned on becoming a coffee producer. After taking over his family's farm, he considered removing the coffee trees entirely and replacing them with crops that offered better financial returns.

Before making that decision, he called his friend Oat, Head Roaster at Sarnies Coffee.

Oat's response was simple: "Don't cut down the coffee trees."

Instead, Oat travelled to the farm to help Phakphum learn coffee cultivation, processing, and quality control. From that conversation, Project Fine Robusta was born.

Located in the watershed forests of Thong Pha Phoom, Sartum Farm is managed with a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. To protect the surrounding ecosystem and water sources, the farm avoids synthetic chemicals and relies on organic farming practices.

Through years of experimentation and refinement, Phakphum developed a Slow Dry process lasting up to 30 days. The result is a Fine Robusta that challenges expectations, delivering exceptional sweetness, remarkable cleanliness, and a flavour profile rarely associated with the variety.

Best enjoyed as filtered coffee.
